recipe is so good
It is a quick and really easy dish that makes a perfect weeknight dinner or lunch This instant pot taco meat only takes 8 minutes of pressure cooking, it can be done for less, but I love mine tender and I find the flavour infuses more this way. The taco seasoning marries the ground beef so well and produces the most delicious tasting dish. You can use frozen ground beef and you would still achieve the same result as you would with fresh ground beef. This recipe works well with ground turkey, can you see why it is the best? More importantly, you can do a dump and go with this recipe, skip the saute business and come back to a delicious melting ground beef taco after 10 minutes. Taco meat recipe can be doubled and stored for later. It freezes well and stores well for a few days in the fridge too Don’t have homemade taco seasoning, feel free to use your favourite packet seasoning. This is a perfect recipe for an instant pot newbie.

How to make Instant pot taco Meat
First, you turn on your instant pot to the sauté function, add oil and heat until hot, add the chopped onions to the hot oil and sauté until soft and translucent. Add the ground beef to the sautéed onion and Cook until Brown. Followed by the taco seasoning, beef bouillon and stir to combine. Cover with the tomato sauce and stir to combine. Secure the lid of the instant pot and turn the valve to sealing position. Cook meat at high pressure for 8 minutes and once it is done, do 5 minutes natural release or quick release if in a hurry. Carefully open the lid and stir the meat, serve as desired. Note: if there seems to be a lot of liquid in the meat, use the sauté function to let the liquid steam off.
